First Day of School (for all 3!)

Sorry it's taken so long to catch up on blogging.  I thought once the kids started school I would have all the time in the world to blog, craft, and sew but unfortunately I am still chipping away at the "when the kids are back in school" no-fun to-do list.

Khera started Kindergarten this year. Here is her first day of school.  I love uniforms.  That morning, she was so nervous, she said:  "Mom, I'm having trouble breathing and I feel really sad."  My heart ached for her, but she was brave and ended up LOVING her school, teachers, and classmates.

One of the not-so-fun items on the list was hemming K's skorts.

Elle was excited for Khera and her new school, especially because this year SHE'S the big cheese at preschool.

Not my finest hem-job in this photo...

Elle's first day of her last year of preschool, she was so excited:

To say Tommy was anxious is an understatement.

Terrified maybe?

Traumatized?

Up until this moment the most stressful events in his life were getting the wrong flavor dum-dum and worrying about when he's going to score his next Oreo.

Tommy is the KING of phony crying. Truth be told, Mama needed a break from little Tom-T. I'm not afraid to admit I'm really enjoying my 9 hours of cling-free time. Poor Tommy, he cried himself to sleep on the first day, but now I'm happy to report that he stops crying when I'm 2 feet out of the classroom door and is loving his new found freedom.

Before I leave you, I wanted to take you down memory lane of our past 4 years of firsts.

Alright now, I've gotta go get some sleep.  I am really going to try to get caught up on my posts before they get away from me.  Thanks for stopping by!
